The native morepork is known for its haunting, melancholic call. The Māori name 'ruru' reflects this sound. They are found forests throughout mainland New Zealand and offshore island.

Tania Mallow has had a deep-seated passion for crafting since the age of 8, and her journey began in her father's garage, where she discovered her love for creating jewellery using bits of wire and beads.

With a determined pursuit of a career aligning with her passion for jewellery and creativity, Tania invested time and energy, ultimately receiving formal training under the guidance of renowned Goldsmith Chris Schweder.
